Why do you charge an entry fee?

To keep it short & simple, all Cat Cafes charge an entry fee. This entry fee is purely put to one side to help care for the cats. We go through lots of food, litter, toys, medication and vets bills every month. By implementing an entry fee we are making sure we are able to take the best care of our cats.

What are your entry fees?

Our fees are £7.00 per adult (16+) and £3.50 (2-15) with under 2s free.

Do I need to book?

We recommend booking to avoid disappointment. If we have room for walk ins we can allow them, however we cannot guarantee this. The best way to get a guaranteed table is to book online.

Are you wheelchair friendly?

Halstead - Our internal and external doors are 60cm wide, so as long as you can fit through then yes. We have a ramp, unfortunately toilets not accessible. Colchester- Wheelchair friendly, toilets are located upstairs so unfortunately toilets not accessible.

Where do your cats come from & How can I adopt?

Our cats come from the UK or our very special team of rescuers in the UAE.

How do you ensure the cats are healthy & happy?

All staff are trained in various aspects of cat care. Hourly observations take place on each and every cat which is recorded and kept for a minimum of 3 years. All cats are subject to regular vets check ups.

Can I make a donation?

Yes please! We are extremely grateful for any and all donations we receive. We accept beds, carriers, blankets, toys, food (Even if opened) and anything else cat related. Every item donated we use, love and appreciate so much. If you would like to make a cash donation we are happy to accept these in the cafe, alternatively our PayPal details are below; (info@meowcatcafeessex.co.uk)
